Реферат

Strict requirements in the field of environment protection relating to the technological processes and equipment, as well as rise of understanding of the importance of environment protection force steel producers to undertake decisive measures. Minimizing of emissions of harmful substances in the environment in combination with minimal possible power consumption are the current tasks to be solved by the iron and steel industry. In this connection, it is necessary to avoid water pollution via transition of harmful substances from gas stream to a water phase. And Siemens VAI operates in accordance with these principles during development of up-to-date methods of dry gas cleaning of waste gases. The company proposes three techniques in this field: Meros (maximal decrease of harmful emissions in agglomeration), Merim (maximal decrease of emissions and usage of secondary power resources in production of ferrous metals) and Mercon (maximal decrease of emissions and usage of secondary power resources in production of con-verter steel).
