Abstract

The article presents the precondition of technological audit and consulting development for metallurgical and machine-building enterprises as a part of engineering companies activities, aimed at highest possible efficiency of investment and minimizing of risks. Additionally, this tool can be eff ectively used for distribution of state support of industrial works, with determination of the level of readiness of the enterprises for efficient usage of this support. The article gives the classification of technological audit by main goal (prestart-audit, update-audit and upgrade-audit) and lists the basic objects of the audit of industrial enterprises (structure and management, basic equipment and technologies, infrastructure and automation systems, service and maintenance, personnel and intellectual property, software and quality management, scientifi c-research and designing-engineering works, investing projects). Based on the experience of METALLURGMASH Engineering, the authors describe the basic steps and results of technological audit and consulting, and provide examples of classification of investment projects in metallurgical industry. It should be mentioned that technological audit and consulting can’t solve any problems of the works, it can be only a first step of consequent realization of recommended measures.
