ArcelorMittal corporation has been established in 2007, as a result of merge between Mittal Steel Co. and Arcelor. It includes more than 60 enterprises in more than 20 countries with appr. 320,000 employees. ArcelorMittal is the largest steel producer in the world, one of the leading transnational corporations. Its industrial site in Fos-sur-Mer is used for flat metal production, and laser measuring system for precision rolls (described in this article) leveling is applied in technological process.
