In connection with significant growth of a part of costs on energy saving, a question about considerable increasing of grade of rock mass crushing during its blasting becomes more urgent. It is well known that impact pressure on destructed massif during the moving detonation front along the well is less efficient than impact pressure in radial direction of well. Besides, in connection with physical heterogeneity of well charge in water-bearing conditions (especially with flowing water), detonation process can be interrupted or developed in burning regime, which also sufficiently decreases the efficiency of explosive breaking and explains the necessity of reaching of constant ratio of well charge detonation by its whole height. Decreasing of open pit perimeter and increasing of its depth is not less urgent task. For the first time, this task foreordains the necessity of increasing of mine excavations stability. For the purpose of solving of foregoing tasks, during the blasting operations at Scientific and Technical Center «Rosvzryvobezopasnost», there are developed and successfully used the charges ZKV-B (ЗКВ-Б) (for controlled blasting and line initiation of well charges of emulsion explosives) and ZSPP (ЗСПП) (for developmental work of bench bottom).
