Реферат

This article presents the Ioko-Dovyren dunite-troctolite-gabbro massif. This massif is a silicate-like body, which is elongated by 26 km northeasterly, with 3.5 km of maximal outcrop width and south-east pitching. Dunite area of the massif outcrops at the north-west slope of Dovyren bald mountain. Its  largest capacity was defined in the central part of the massif. Dunites of the massif are high-qualitative. They contain 80-97% of idiomorphic olovine crystals. Hydroxyl-containing and alkali-containing minerals are not typical for these dunites. Dunites are presented not only in the type of massif rocks, but also in the type of bondless mechanic weathering crust with well-saved structure of initial dunites. Reserves are estimated at billions of tones. There was defined the value of total specific efficient activity of natural radionuclides Aeff, which makes up 94.45 Bq/kg for dunite sand and 85.69 Bq/kg for dunite detritus, which defines the possibility of their usage in construction. There is considered the possibility of usage of dunites as coarse and fine aggregate during the manufacturing of heavy-weight concrete (100–400 grades), which have good physical and mechanic indices and increased sulphate-resistance.

This work is carried out according to the program of Department of Chemistry and Materials science of Russian Academy of Sciences No. 5.5.2 «Obtaining of new types of materials with high exploitation characteristics from mining industry wastes».
