Abstract

The processes of feedstock breaking are foreseen in the head of technological scheme during the concentration of ores of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and processing of construction rocks. The whole technological process of various enterprises of mining and metallurgical industry depends greatly on the high-productive and efficient work.
In most cases, three-stage breaking in the breakers of various design is applied for the feedstock breaking. Application of threestage breaking is substantiated by the low breaking grade of modern industrial breakers (within 4–6).
Jaw breakers occupy a special position among various designs of breakers, because they can create the most high pressure on the breaking material, according to the other type breakers. However, all designs of modern jaw breakers have two significant disadvantages: cyclical operating mode and law breaking grade (within 4–6).
This article describes the design of a jaw breaker, which is one of examples of improvement of jaw breakers, because this breaker has no idle running and provides the breaking grade within 25–30. Setting of the double stage jaw breaker into exploitation makes it possible to simplify the technological multi-stage breaking schemes significantly and reduce the costs on the breaking process.
