Abstract

The mining system has a significant effect on economic indices of ore-dressing industry with underground mining method. Selection of competitive and technically applicable technologies of ores extraction foregoes to the selection of optimal systems. In addition, numerous factors play the significant part: power; pitch angles and morphology of ore bodies; depth of occurrence of ore bodies; physical and mechanical properties of ores and deads; admissibility of movement and failure of earth surface, etc. The content of valuable components and metals price have a significant effect on the choice of optimal mining system. In connection with this, all mining systems can be divided in two groups, which differ by cost and qualitative and quantitative indices of ores extraction:
-low cost systems, which are characterized by the significant losses and impoverishment of ores;
-high cost systems with high qualitative and quantitative indices of ores extraction from subsoils.
Therefore, it is obvious, that it is not reasonable to add the ores, which are not valuable, using the expensive systems. At the same time, it is not reasonable to add the high valuable ores, using the systems with high losses and impoverishment.
Authors of this article developed the methodology, on the basis of which, there is given a certain example of the choice of mining system of ore bodies of gold-polymetallic deposit. The «critical content » is estimated figure of valuable component in ore. Using this figure, it is shown, that the sublevel mining method, applied on the used mine, is not economically reasonable. However, the flat back cut and fill system is recommended to introduction. The annual economic effect from the introduction of recommended system is more than 11 USD.
