“BELAZ” JSC is the leading enterprise, which dump trucks are exploited in Russia. The share of these dump trucks is for about 70% of the whole fleet. As of the September 2012, near 12 500 various “BELAZ” equipment operated in Russia. In tote, more than 550 Russian mining enterprises use the «BELAZ» equipment. For the purpose of providing of all Russian regions with «BelAZ» production, there was created a branched commodity distribution network, which includes: 1 distributor, 7 dealers and 23 service centers. In the last decade, together with exploitation of dump trucks by the mining interprises, the outsourcing is in high demand. It represents the services on transportation of rock mass, which includes not only the transportation process itself, but also the complex of engineering service. Information about the Kovdor Ore Dressing and Processing Enterprise is given for more detailed comparison of exploitation indices of mine dump trucks of «BELAZ» and foreign manufacturers. The hinged dump truck BELAZ-75281 is one of the newest developments of «BELAZ». This dump truck is intended for the transportation of rock mass. It is designed both for the driving along the special engineering roads, and for the driving in the bad conditions of roads, on the soils with low carrying capacity. The floating coupling contributes to higher maneuverability of the dump truck. The 4 wheel drive improves the tractive characteristic (summary traction). The dump truck can overcome the big inclinations. It is less sensitive to the quality of roads, and is irreplaceable on mining operations during the transportation of rocks from deep horizons with increased water inflow. These dump trucks are exploited by «BelAZ-Pomorye» LLC on the diamond deposit named after V. Grib (Arkhangelsk region). This article also presents the main technical characteristics of BelAZ-75281.
