10th Aluminium Two Thousand International Congress | 6th International Conference on Extrusion and Benchmark (20-24 June 2017 PalaExpo Congress, VERONAFIERE – Verona, Italy)

Launched in 1990, the event Aluminium Two Thousand-ICEB World Congress will be held in Verona - Italy in June 2017, following the great successful participation of the past edition in Florence 2015 and the previous ones. After 9 editions, it has become a very important and irreplaceable meeting point for all the operators working in the Aluminum industry. The synergy with the International Conference on Extrusion and Benchmark (ICEB), the biggest event in Europe related to the recent developments on Extrusion Technology and its analysis by FEM simulation, brought the congress always more in the foreground.

Highly qualified “Aluspecialists” from companies, universities and associations come from all over the world to present to a specialized and international audience the most innovative technologies and applications in the aluminium field. The aim of the conference is to join together technical and scientific experts, to widespread their knowledge and to form an international community for the discussion of state of the art, as well as future developments, in the field of extrusion and in its most powerful tool, the numerical simulation.

Also for this 2017 edition the ICEB conference will keep all its main features, by merging technical sessions on the “Latest advances in the extrusion of light alloys” with the contest “Extrusion Benchmark” of simulation codes.

The 2017 edition will be bigger and unique: thanks to a new partnership with VeronaFiere, infact the 2017 Aluminium Two Thousand - ICEB Congress will be held along with Metef Exhibition.

The events will bring together “aluminium and light alloys” specialists in a single venue. It will create a very attractive and unique opportunity for industry managers, technicians, researchers, technology suppliers, and other qualified speakers, who will have the opportunity to meet highly qualified colleagues from all over the world and stay up-to-date on the latest researches, industrial applications, and the trends for the future.

Aluminium Two Thousand-ICEB conference will take place at the PalaExpo Congress, VeronaFiere, Verona - Italy, from 20 to 24 June 2017.

Four parallel sessions for three full days will ensure that all subjects will be covered in detail. Papers will be reviewed by the conference scientific committee, in order to select the most innovative studies and researches, the newest industrial applications, and the most interesting case studies.

More than 100 scientific titles have already been submitted and we expect that they will attract more than 400 participants.

The main topics of the conference are: Markets & Strategies - Alloys Billets & Related Equipment - Rolling Technology - Architecture & Special Uses - Transport & Automotive Industry – Anodizing – Coating - ICEB Session & Extrusion - Nano Technology - Automation - Measuring, Testing & Quality Techniques - Advanced Applications & Research – Environmental Protection & Recycling - Casting & Die Casting

In addition:

- free day on on Friday, 23rd June 2017, for visiting METEF exhibition.

Upon author’s request, the abstracts and the full papers will be reviewed for publication on Scientific Journal Materials Today: Proceedings and on Conference Proceedings (with ISBN).
